“I have the privilege of being able to be home during this quarantine taking care of my family and working. My kids got the chance to see their mom working, which builds a full picture of who I am to them even if they are still too young to fully understand the reasons why I sit in front of the computer at times instead of playing with them in the garden. I have the joy to work in a field that I am passionate for, developing solutions that combine social justice with environmental conservation. And to think and think and think about the unbalanced world that got exposed by the pandemic and that we need to ensure will be different in the years to come through collaboration and love, so that our society can reinvent itself.”⁣
