Market Garden in the Heart of the Dolomites | L’Orto di Mama Patty

Tucked in a small valley of the magnificent Dolomite Mountain range lies L’Orto di Mama Patty. Patricia, Andrea and their three sons operate a heart-centred and vibrant small scale market garden operation, feeding their near by village of San Lorenzo Dorsino each week.

L’Orto di Mama Patty farms in line with organic practices. Their produce is a direct service to the local community, where they provide CSA (community supported agriculture) boxes weekly.

The fields echo with laughter most of the time. Field days aren’t without shared meals over farm fresh ingredients, homemade sourdough and espresso in-between. The family’s love and dedication of their farm season after season is palpable. Community is a central part of what they do, and when you step foot on their soils, you become part of their family.
