Farm to Table | Sanctuary Slimane | Morocco

Nestled on the red soils South of Marrakech, lies a 10 hectare permaculture farm. Its grounds are teeming with life, hosting a wide array of diverse species that all take part in the overall health and functioning of the farm ecosystem. As a bio-dynamic farm, nothing is waste here - all parts are cycled back into the whole. In line with permaculture principles, rows of vegetables are placed beneath towering olive groves in a symbiotic relationship; the trees receive irrigation while the crops are given shade. Each morning abundance is harvested from the farm and taken a short 24km to the Farmers restaurant in the heart of Gueliz, Marrakech.
